 Free Health Check-up

The fact that public hospitals and health centres are frequently overrun with community-based destitute patients makes it difficult for the street children to receive aid from these institutions, and they are also unable to offer free or heavily discounted medications. Naturally, these homeless kids and their families are unable to afford medical care in private facilities or to purchase their own medications.

In the most underprivileged parts of Telangana, our Free health program has been helping the street kids by providing them with medical care. In order to diagnose medical cases and provide appropriate and Individualised medical management through provision of vitamin and mineral supplementation medicines, wound care, and minor surgical procedures, the trust visits the area at least once every two weeks to all designated areas. During these visits, the trust monitors nutritional status, performs routine deworming, and performs health checks.
